Cantilever House

A modernist house in the garden was ultimately what the client was after to connect with the wooded hillside slope and impressive harbour views beyond. The house became an exercise in horizontal planes of glass, steel and raw concrete; anchoring to the hill and floating toward the tree canopies. The results of a liveable, timeless house bathed in dappled light, will see this family enjoying the house as it ages gracefully.
