Cathedral Square

An iconic profile site within a rich historical and urban setting, and high density requirements drove the design of this apartment block. Our design maximised the available land and space: creating a usable and appropriate public space while breaking up an otherwise monolithic facade with alternating concrete and glass, with bright coloured elements. The result was a proposal that captured an iconic scale appropriate to Cathedral Square, while modernising and revitalising the area for inner city living.
